Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation and
time for rest.Dinner*and overnight.
2 day
After breakfast visit to Rila Monastery and its museum. Lunch*.
Overnight in Sofia.
3 day
After breakfast: city tour of Sofia. Lunch*. Departure for the
town of Vratsa. Accommodation at hotel "Zorov", situated
near the dairy-farm in the mountain region Parshevitsa. Visit to the
dairy-farm and getting acquainted with the process of making Bulgarian
cheese, potted cheese/ curds, yellow cheese and other similar products.
Dinner and overnight.
You can taste national Bulgarian specialties at the hotel restaurant:
cheese made from cow's milk, sheep's milk, yoghurt from buffalo's
milk, dishes from chicken, pork, lamb, as well as the special yellow
cheese "Gyubek". The region Parshevitsa is situated in the
Balkan Mountains near the town of Vratsa, a land of beautiful nature
and crystal clear air. There is some very rich and various vegetation
in this place - combined broad-leaved forests are widely distributed.
4 day
After breakfast: a sightseeing tour* of the cave of Ledenika with
lunch*. Dinner and overnight.
The cave of Ledenika is a real ice underground fairy tale in wintertime.
That gave the name of the cave - Ledenika (the Glacier). The Concert
Hall, one of the largest caves in Bulgaria, has several times been
a place of concerts and performances.
5 day
After breakfast: visit to Troyan Monastery* with lunch*. Dinner
and overnight.
6 day
After breakfast: time at leisure in the region Parshevitsa. Possibilities
to visit the dairy farm or to take a horse ride. Lunch and dinner
at the hotel. Overnight.
7 day
After breakfast: departure for Sofia. Transfer to Sofia airport. |
